Inaugural Season Began october 23, 1999 The Great Cities of the World is the theme for the Carnival Triumph, the newest & most innovative ship in Carnival's world-renowned fleet. This sun-loving ship has an outdoor entertainment area that's 3 football fields long. There's plenty of space to provide you with 4 pools, 7 whirlpools, a 214-foot spiral waterslide, shaded bars, entertainment stages and huge areas for sunning, dancing and outdoor dining. The ship's nine story main atrium- The Capitol- features a lobby bar, plush seating, glass elevators and a spectacular sky dome. You'll savor continental cuisine in one of the two-level dining rooms, London or Paris. You can dine bistro-style in the laid-back South Beach Club Restaurant. And you'll always have a perfect seat for the Las Vegas-style revues in the spectacular three-level, state-of-the-art theater, the Rome Lounge. Along "World's Way", the ship-long promenade, enjoy a drink & cigar at the Oxford Bar. Have a cappuccino and a pastry at the Vienna Cafe. Or try your luck at Club Monaco, one of Carnival's largest and most elegant casinos. There's still more gaming action on the large-screen TV's in the Olympic Sports Bar, where you can root for your favorite team. Check out the cabaret acts at Club Rio or join the crowd around the piano in The Big Easy. Be part of the rock beat and the dance floor heat at the Hollywood Dance Club. Like all Carnival "Fun Ships", the Carnival Triumph has a complete Nautica Spa, 24-hour Pizzeria, duty- free shops, a card & game room and a library. Young cruisers will be thrilled by Children's World, the expanded facilities of the Camp Carnival program and by Underground Tokyo, a cavern-like video arcade.
